| Anglo Holt, as design and build contractors for the new Mercedes Benz dealership in Milton Keynes for the United Auto group, designed a stunning building with the features and quality normally associated with this prestige auto manufacturer. |

The Archifab team were called in by Anglo Holt to assist with the design of the three saturn rings to encircle the central core of the building. The architects at Anglo Holt were looking for a design that would give a clean, crisp finish for the rings and wall head capping; consequently, the material to be used had to be light weight and have the ability to adapt to the 10m diameter curve inherent in the design. The surface finish had to match that of other materials used in the construction, or surpass it.
The Archifab team set about designing the units and the support structure while liasing with the client contractor before production of the units was commenced. The work was ordered and installed in line with the tight construction schedule of the main contractor. |
